Jose Mourinho lays into Michael Owen after Ibra criticism

Formerly famed for his lethal goal-scoring touch with Liverpool, Michael Owen has turned into a rather dull fixture of the BT Sport team, delivering his musings in staggering monotone.

Last month the former England international weighed into Manchester United’s very own inimitable Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic, labeling him as nothing more than a ‘stopgap striker’, a short term choice with other world class strikers currently out of range for the former champions.

With the comments clearly touching a nerve, Mourinho struck back at Owen, reminding the United alumni of his rather average 17 goals over three seasons whilst at the club when speaking to BT.

The look on Owen’s face is just a little bit priceless.
