Mourinho reportedly at his wits end with duo who invited hair stylists to hotel

Whilst their attacking exploits have at brief stints reminded the Old Trafford faithful of the Ferguson era, Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side look a shade of the Scotsman’s band of win at all costs chancers.

After a rotten sequence of results have made supporters question whether the side has the mineral to mount a serious title challenge, Mourinho is reportedly on the war path against questionable attitudes in the changing room.

Already laying into his injured duo over their lack of fight in the face of poor form, the former Real Madrid manager is increasingly becoming weary over the players over interest in their personal business brands.

According to the Mirror, Mourinho has lambasted four of his first team who invited hair stylists to their hotel before the sides 4-0 humiliation to Chelsea.

Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero have been named as the likely duo, with another two mystery players in tow, who paid the travel expenses in order to maintain their sharp cuts. A slightly ridiculous expense in the eyes of the boss hoping for his players to have their eyes very much on the prize prior to a big match.

As poor as the side’s fortunes have been prior to last weeks win over Swansea, the Red Devil’s back line as often been criticised by various sources for looking unorganised and a tad uninterested.

You can bet that if their current form is maintained, Mourinho will see fit to move them on with replacements more in tune with his ‘philosophy’ coming the other way, potentially as early as January.
