Dzeko sounds out former Man City teammate as the greatest he’s played with

Given his goal scoring exploits in German prior to his move to the Premier League, Edin Dzeko’s Manchester City was known for his fleeting displays of brilliance at some points, and for languishing on the bench at others. Indeed it hasn’t stopped the Bosnian from paying tribute to his fellow former teammates.

Talking to AS Roma’s official site recently, the skillful striker offered up his choice for the greatest player he’s ever shared a dressing room with.

With the likes of Totti , Aguero, Kompany all potentially worthy of the accolade, Dzeko instead plumped for a tricky Spaniard by the name of David Silva.

He goes on:
“I think I would have to go with David Silva, he does amazing things with the ball and they don’t call him the Little Magician for nothing.

“This guy was brilliant with his feet, he could take any ball you gave him, control it, and pass it on.

“All of us were always amazed by his ability and technique. He is definitely the best I’ve played with.”

Indeed the pairs playing years were considered quite fruitful, with the two winning two Premier League titles during the Bosnian’s time at the Etihad,
