Making the move back to Ligue 1 after a stint with AC Milan, Jeremy Menez received a rather ugly home coming after losing part of his ear during a gruesome mid match clash.
Making his debut for Bordeaux against Lorient on Wednesday. The 29-year old attacker clashed with Didier Ndong, who stood on the ex-PSG forward’s head and, in the process, took a chunk out of his ear – Evander Holyfield style.

After the match, Lorient released a statement saying that Menez would require surgery. Similarly, Ndong expressed his regret by saying: ‘I offer my apologies to Jeremy Menez and Bordeaux.”
