What with it being a time honoured footballing tradition to be an absolute arsehole to your opponent given a seconds notice, it was all rather lovely to see Barcelona’s ‘Infantil B’ side showing true compassion following a trophy win.
Having beat Omya 1-0 in the final of the World Challenge Cup in Tokyo, Barca’s batch of 13 year old pass masters approached their devastated opponents with reassuring hugs at they final whistle.
