Very much going against the litany of cookie cutter kits as churned out by the elite sports brands, Southampton have revealed this rather retro tinged new 16/17 home effort.
Designed by new kit manufacturers ‘Under Armour’, the first offering from a seven year deal, the shirt is seemingly a throwback to Saints’ 95 equivalent.
Whilst we appreciate the attempts at conjuring up a certain early Premier League nostalgia, we’re just not that sure about those sleeves…a few too many stripes for us.
