Everton lining up £25m swoop for Swansea’s Sigurdsson #EFC

With his sound technical ability and penchant for outstanding long range goals, Gylfi Sigurdsson is in our eye’s one of the most underrated center midfielders currently plying his trade in the Premier League.

With Everton’s new manager looking to shore up his attacking options coming into the new Premier League season, it’s been reported that Ronald Koeman is lining up a £25m bid for the Icelandic international.

If indeed the Toffee’s our successful in purchasing their man, it will only be the side’s second signing of the season after Fulham goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg joined for an undisclosed fee. Whilst the window has been a relatively quite one for the Merseysiders, the hiring of former Leicester City assistant Steve Walsh as a director of football is expected to assist Koeman in signing some much needed recruits.

Playing in a struggling Swansea side last season, Sigurdsson still managed to notch up 11 goals and 3 assists in 36 appearances.
