Wales’ ended their final set of Euro 2016 warm fixtures with a swift slap across the face after succumbing to a 3-0 defeat to Sweden.
As Chris Coleman tries to shrug off the heavy defeat ahead of their group matches against England, Russia and Slovakia, the Dragon’s will need the star power of Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey, and, perhaps more importantly Joe Allen, if they have may chance of making it through to the next phase.
In an interview with Walesonline, captain Ashley Williams gave a light hearted rundown of the entire Welsh squad, with the ‘Welsh Pirlo’ himself receiving quite the tribute.
He gushed;
Everyone loves Joe. We have a WhatsApp messaging group and at least once a week we have a Joe Allen Appreciation Day. Great beard, great haircut, great guy, he’s the main man in the squad. Class player too.
