Just as the management merry go round claimed another victim, Tottenham Hotspurs have done their darnedest to hold on to their very much in demand man on the sidelines.
After it was was “verbally agreed” a week or two back, Mauricio Pochettino has officially signed a new long-term contract that ties him to Tottenham until the year of our 2021.
The Argentine’s back-room staff have also been rewarded with similar deals, with the club announcing the glorious news earlier today.
For a second there it looked like a certain red faced man had nabbed the clubs star-man after photos surfaced of a very cosy lunch, thankfully Mauricio only turned up to tell Sir Alex where he can stick his job.
Yup, that’s definitely how it panned out.
