Jeez, it really does seem Barca’s recent Champions League exit to Atletico has really got to Dani Alves.
With Wednesday’s defeat very much on the Brazilians mind, what with a second successive treble now resigned to being just a pipe dream for the Catalans, Alves went about explaining things to his many fans on his Instagram – via the medium of pretending to be his girlfiend.
“Hello it’s Joana Sanz, I am here to give love to my sweetie, who is very sad,” Alves said.
“But love, it’s just a game of football. Nothing happens. Life is like this.
“You are worth much more than this. I love you.”
