Whilst the Liverpool number one has no doubt wanted the ground to swallow him up on various occasions this season thanks to a series clangers, Simon Mignolet has still lent his face and (arguably) capable hands to ‘Fruit Innovation Farmers, and ‘ALS Liga’ in Belgium, charities that encourage more people to eat their five a day.
As you can see on the below image, the Belgian stopper is featuring on various boxed of fruit inexplicably throwing himself to his left to deflect away a goal bound pear.
