Atletico Madrid needed penalties to book their place in the Champions League’s last 8 last night after a fiercely fought 2nd round win over PSV Einhoven.
Whilst not one goal was scored over the two legs, it didn’t stop Atletico boss Diego Simeone from feeling every excruciating, nerve jangling moment. Thankfully a 8-7 shoot-out win stopped the former Argentina international from having an aneurysm.
