With their side capitulating to a rampant Liverpool side 6-0 in what only can be described as a performance fit for relegation, Villa centre back Joleon Lescott some how angered fans even further with an ill advised post match tweet.
The former West Brom and Man City players simply tweeted a picture of a £125,000 new silver Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe, an image many Villa fans failed to see the funny side of.
One angry supporter replied: “Is that appropriate after being tonked! Villa fans deserve better!!” while another said: “bit disrespectful that pic after your excuse of a performance. Disgrace.”
Since the almighty flurry of abuse however, Lescott apologised…..
