Gaudy Kanye West inspired ‘Adidas Yeezy Ace’ prototype football boots unveiled

Generally a character not too troubled by any notion of sanity, Kanye West took things down a few pegs when unveiling 50 pairs of his ‘Adidas Yeezy Boost 350’ black sports shoes at a London store back in August.

As fans camped out in tents in the hope of securing the eyesores, it was reported that some pairs fetched a quite incredible, although quite unexpected, £20,000.

The boots were produced as part of the Copa Basel exhibition at the Art Basel Miami gallery, a collection that “aims to bridge the divide between art and football”.
