Whilst the publication can hardly claim to be pulling up any trees with this latest bit of news, Bild have tweeted confirmation, or so in their eyes, that Pep Guardiola has agreed a deal with Manchester City.

Funnily enough just hours prior Bild’s chief Bayern Munich reporter Christian Falk, the very same that reported on Ancelotti’s Bayern appointment, broke the story that Arsenal were late runners to nab the tiki taka technician, a move headed by Wenger himself with the clubs long term future in mind.
A changed tune indeed.
It’s believed that Pep has signed for 3yr’s with a contact worth 25m/year + bonuses. A whopping great deal, however chump change for owner Sheikh Manaour if the Spaniard turns them into the European powerhouses as hoped.
Whilst all of the Premier Leagues top clubs baying for the attention of the Catalan, that’s Chelsea, Manchester United and City, all represent tempting opportunities for the man to transform the clubs into his image, it’s believed that having “good friends” Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain already at the club in executive positions, that the Citizens were always his number one choice.
We can’t wait to see the man in England’s Premier division, more to the point we can’t wait to see Yaya Tore forced to play a pressing game.
