David Gold humiliates himself again after retweeting missing person on Twitter

Never a stranger to absolutely embarrassing himself via the medium of Twitter (One incident that springs to mind is the time he welcomed a player to the club with the wrong picture), West Ham co-owner David Gold last night threw himself to the metaphorical social media lions when innocently paying it forward.

Responding to a ‘missing person’ plea sent to him from a fan, Gold joined in the hunt for the MIA Person by retweeting the image.

Of course not everything was as it seemed- alas the request wasn’t entirely genuine. Who was the young man featured in the picture? Only £7m West Ham signing Michail Antonio.

After completing just 30 minutes of first-team football for the Hammers since joining on deadline day, you could probably forgive the man for forgetting the former Nottingham Forest wingers face.
