With PSG move on the horizon, Thiago Silva trolls the internet by commenting Di Maria is stepping up to a ‘big club’.

With the multiple Premier League winners Manchester United taking an eye watering hit on their record signing, it seems one of Angel Di Maria’s new PSG teammates is quietly confident (overly) the man is moving up a few gears in terms of club size.

Brazil captain Thiago Silva commented that the Argentine playmaker stepping up to a ‘big club’, being the French capitals number one side, by leaving Manchester United.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, the centre back commented;
“I think that people now need to respect PSG as a club, and our position as one of the big clubs in Europe. Real Madrid and Barcelona are probably on another level, but after that if you are joining PSG it means you are probably taking a step up.

We went further than any English clubs in Europe last year – even beating the English champions.

Every season we keep our best players despite much interest, and always add the best players in Europe. How many clubs can say that? The vision our owners have for this club is very clear, and that is for PSG to be the best.

With the French champions only being in existence for nigh on 40 years, perhaps Silva would have been wise to instead comment that PSG are ‘currently a better side’ rather than going the whole hog.

Naturally United Twitter users took the insult in jest….
