Probably knowing full well that the majority of it’s internet savy fans have already seen it in leaked photos, Manchester United have unveiled their brand spanking new Adidas kit with a rather striking new promotional video.
Mata, Jones, Young, Shaw and Schweinsteiger are all present in the featurette, each one bringing with them a weaponised version of the trident held by the famous devil on the clubs badge.
Using the clubs motto “Breaking Expectations”, players are seen breaking glass with their tridents to emphasize…that Tridents break expectations? no wait…tridents breaking through the glass ceiling?…ah who cares.
Either way, Phil Jones brings an epic gurn for us all to enjoy.
