A real nerve: Maradona gives referee that allowed ‘Hand of God’™ a signed Argentina shirt

Seeing his famous ‘Hand of God’™ moment as nothing more than than a hilarious jape, Diego Maradona has heavily trolled England fans with this latest escapade.

Having found himself in Tunisia over the weekend, the former Argentina legend met up with Ali Bennaceur, the very Ali Bennaceur who refereed Argentina’s 1986 World Cup quarter final match against England.

As he likley should, Maradona gave thanks to his ‘eternal friend’ by gifting him a sign Argentina shirt.

Speaking on his own website, he commented;
“This weekend I visited Tunisia and I had an emotional reunion with Ali Bennaceur, the referee of the England match in Mexico 1986,” he said.

“I gave him an Argentina shirt and he gave me the picture of that game that hangs in his home. My dedication: ‘For Ali, my eternal friend’.”

The cheeky bastard.

No one tell Peter Shilton about this….
