Tony Pulis’ West Brom moved four points clear of the Premier League drop zone as the Baggies saw off Swansea 2-0.
Whilst Swansea have struggled for goals since Wilfied Bony’s departure for Man City, West Brom’s strikeforce of Ideye and Berahino in one that is seemingly starting to blosom. It was in the Nigerian receiving the ball from his strike-partner that the Baggies found their opener, Ideye putting the ball away with a low effort.
On the second Ideye returned the favour, pulling back for Berehino to tuck away from 12 yards.
Swansea struggled to maintain a threat with Gomis doing his very best as a lone striker. In the end there wasn’t enough fire power to threaten Ben Foster’s goal.
The win means Pulis’ side climb to fourteenth whilst the Swans sit in ninth.
